After many days of practice and waiting, today Richen power has finally arrived at a time when the sea is calm. At 11:00 on September 9, 2017, Richen power, the maker of hybrid power system, together with hive aerospace hc330 and Foxtech gaia 160, formally launched a challenge across the 100 km Bohai Sea. The plane took off from Yantai at 11:34 and arrived in Dalian at 2:29. The straight-line flight distance was more than 100 kilometers, with the flight time of 2 hours and 55 minutes. On September 9, 2017, the oil electric hybrid pure electric drive multi rotor UAV successfully crossed the Bohai Bay, setting a record for the longest navigation time and longest distance in the history of multi rotor UAV.

Both UAVs are equipped with the H2 hybrid system of Richenpower Ltd. The self weight of H2 system is 4kg. It can generate electric energy by burning gasoline and supply 2kW DC electric energy for UAV. It has ultra-high power weight ratio, 11 times of traditional power generation equipment, 7 times of frequency conversion power generation equipment, and the longest endurance is more than 5 hours. As the first truly mature unmanned oil electric hybrid system, H2 is selected to drill in a complex and changeable marine environment with high humidity to demonstrate the stability and reliability of H2.
